Day 1: Australia – Johannesburg
Depart Australia on flight to Johannesburg.
Day 2: Johannesburg – Kruger National Park
On arrival into Johannesburg, connect with your flight to Kruger National Park and transfer to Shumbalala Private Game Lodge for 3 nights. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in open safari vehicles and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
It’s a vast, wild place where the lions roam at Shumbalala Game Lodge, deep in the Thornybush Game Reserve. To ensure absolute exclusivity and privacy, the lodge prides itself in giving personalised attention to a select number of guests at a time. The spacious private suites each comprise of a bedroom and lounge, en suite bathroom, large glass sliding doors and private viewing decks with a view over the ever-active water hole. Relax and soak up the tranquility, smells and sounds of the bush that surround you.

Days 3 and 4: Kruger National Park
Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives in the beautiful African bush in search of the “Big Five”.
Day 5: Kruger National Park – Pretoria
Morning game drive and breakfast before transfer to airport for flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, transferred to Pretoria.
Accommodation: Sheraton Pretoria Hotel, including breakfast and transfers.
Day 6: The Blue Train – Cape Town
Early this morning, take the courtesy shuttle to Pretoria Station for your night on the Blue Train, travelling in style to Cape Town. Imagine watching the moon rise over the Karoo and waking up to find yourself surrounded by vineyards.
The route between Pretoria and Cape Town is a 27-hour journey, over 1,600 kilometres, through some of the most diverse and spectacular scenery offered by the African sub-continent.

Day 7: Cape Town
On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for 3 nights accommodation.

Day 10: Departure
Leisurely morning before departure transfer to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg to connect with onward flight home.
