Casablanca to Casablanca

Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca
Arrive and check into your hotel

Day 2/3: Fes
Free morning before taking the train to Fes. Guided walking tour of the Medina and souqs (markets)

Day 4: Meknes/Volubilis
Though not as large as Fes, Meknes has a charm of its own time to explore then onto the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Return to Fes.

Day 5/6: Erg Chebbi
Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, via Ziz Gorge to the western fringe of the Sahara Desert where we stay in a Berber style camp. Enjoy the sunrise in the dunes before visiting some of the local villages.

Day 7/8: Todra Gorge
Continue to Tinehrir and the Todra Valley. Morning walk Afternoon to explore the spectacular Todra Gorge.

Day 9: “Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs”
Journey along the “Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs” to the desert city of Ouarzazate. Visit the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou.

Day 10/11: Marrakech
Cross the Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi ‘n Tichka mountain pass to Marrakech. Time to explore this exotic city.

Day 12/13: Essaouira
Travel to the Atlantic Coast and the 18th century Portuguese fishing port of Essaouira. Plenty of opportunities to sample the local seafood! Explore this white-walled city, famous for its woodwork shops.

Day 14/15: Casablanca
Return to Casablanca for overnight. Tour ends after breakfast.
