Gorilla Sojourn

Entebbe to Entebbe Fly-in Safari
4 Days

In Uganda you will find luxury tented camps perched on the side of a mountain in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - the ideal base for gorilla tracking and birding excursions in the park. Bwindi is the natural habitat for just over half the world's last surviving population of mountain gorillas.

Accommodation consists of 8 double tents, each with en-suite facilities with hot and cold running water and a spacious wooden deck where guests can relax. The camp also offers a bar and dining cottage overlooking the rainforest. Gorilla tracking is a year-round activity. Experienced guides will accompany you on your trek which commences every morning from the park and there is a daily maximum of 6 visitors to each gorilla group. Once gorillas are located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them.

Only persons over the age of 15 are allowed to track the gorillas.
