Itinerary:

Day 1: Johannesburg
Depart Sydney for Johannesburg. Transfer to airport hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Johannesburg to Nairobi
Transfer to airport for flight to Nairobi. Met on arrival and transferred to hotel for overnight. Welcome dinner at Cafe Maghreb.

Day 3: Amboseli After breakfast, drive to the Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the lodge, including all meals and activities. Day 4: Amboseli Morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli National Park - home to a huge population of elephants. This day you will participate in a tree planting ceremony. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 5: Lake Manyara Breakfast at the lodge and transfer to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Namanga. Proceed to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, on to Lake Manyara for overnight at your lodge, including all meals and game activities. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast, we take a morning game drive in the park in search of the tree climbing lions. Return to the lodge for lunch then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the early afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge on the crater rim.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Early this morning, we depart the lodge to descend onto the crater floor for a full day of wildlife viewing, including a picnic lunch. This magnificent wildlife area is home to the Big Five, plus a vast varietyu of plains game and birds. Ascend the crater this afternoon for a drive around the crater rim, before overnight at the lodge.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at the lodge and proceed to the Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Game drive en route to your lodge, for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drive in the National Park, under the expert guidance of your guide, in search of the Big Five. All meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 10: Lake Victoria
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to the town of Musoma on the shores of Lake Victoria. Boat transfer to your lodge where lunch will be served. This afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Victoria. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 11: Masai Mara Early breakfast, then head to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Isebania with a box lunch. Game drive en route to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 12: Masai Mara This day, you will enjoy a Hippo Pool breakfast. Morning and afternoon game drives in the Mara Game Reserve in search of a variety of wildlife, including lions, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, reptiles and birds. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 13: Lake Nakuru Morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the National Park, home to a vast number of rhino and flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 14: Nairobi Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving at your hotel. A farewell dinner is included at the Carnivore Restaurant this evening.

Day 15: Johannesburg
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure flight to Johannesburg. Transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 16: Johannesburg to Chobe National Park
Depart Johannesburg by flight to Victoria Falls then transfer by road into Botswana for two nights in Chobe National Park. Afternoon game drive.

Day 17: Chobe National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Chobe National Park, including a cruise on the Chobe River.

Day 18 : Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls
Transfer by road back to Victoria Falls for two night’s accommodation. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 19 : Victoria Falls
A sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River and guided tour of the Falls.

Day 20 : Victoria Falls to Johannesburg
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Sydney via Johannesburg.
