Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo
Your amazing holiday will start when you are met and transferred to your hotel for overnight. Overnight: Intercontinental Semiramis.
Day 2: Cairo
Explore the great Pyramids of Giza, Cheops—being one of the ancient seven wonders of the world—and then on to the spectacular Sphinx. Enjoy a trip to the earliest pyramid—the step pyramid of Saqqara. Also explore the ancient capital of Memphis. Overnight: Intercontinental Semiramis. [B].
Day 3: Cairo
Enjoy a visit to the Egyptian museum that holds the greatest collection of Egypt’s monuments, including Tutankhamun’s elaborate sarcophagus. Explore the ancient citadel of Salah El Din with its magnificent medieval architecture as well as Mohamed Ali mosque. Then a chance to roam the streets of the ancient market of Khan El Khalili and explore old Cairo. Overnight: Intercontinental Semiramis. [B].

Day 4: Luxor
Flight to Luxor. Met and transferred to your Nile cruise. After lunch, you will be visiting the East Bank, the marvellous Karnak and Luxor. Then you will enjoy dinner on board. Overnight on board Presidential Nile Cruise. [BLD].
Day 5: Luxor – Edfu
You will feel part of history as you visit the impressive Valley of the Kings, as well the spectacular temple of Hatshepsut and the gigantic 3,360 year old Colossi of Memnon statues. Transferred back on board and enjoy the sunset while sailing to Esna and onto Edfu. Overnight on board Presidential Nile Cruise. [BLD].
Day 6: Luxor – Edfu –Kom Ombo – Aswan
Enjoy the stunningly preserved temple of Edfu, dedicated to the God, Horus. Then sail to Kom Ombo to visit its famous temple, Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to two Gods: Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing and enjoy the serenity of the Nile. Overnight on board Presidential Nile Cruise. [BLD].
Day 7: Aswan
Morning visits to explore the gigantic High Dam and the magical romantic temple of Philae. Later enjoy a felucca sail to the Botanical gardens on Kitchener island, filled with exotic plants imported from all over the world.
Enjoy an unforgettable dinner on deck under the magical moonlight. Overnight on board Presidential Nile Cruise. [BLD].
Day 8: Aswan – Cairo
Flight back to Cairo, where you will be met, assisted and escorted to your hotel. Overnight: Intercontinental Semira. [B].
Day 9: Cairo – Alexandria – Cairo
Alexandria is located 220kms north west of Cairo. Here you can explore the treasures of the Greco Roman museum, the ancient cemetery of Catacombs as well as Pompei’s Pillar and visit the famous Montaza gardens, facing the Mediterranean Sea. Drive back to Cairo to spend the last night in the city that never sleeps. Overnight: Intercontinental Semiramis. [B].
Day 10: Cairo
Transfer to the airport.
