Rediscover Nature in style at Thula Thula Tented Camp, where the peaceful essence of the African bush can be heard and felt. Exclusivity is assured with only 8 luxury tents, all with private viewing decks, mosquito nets, fans and luxurious en suite bathroom with Victorian bath and outside shower. View wildlife while sipping a cocktail from the swimming pool bar or relax in your hammock overlooking the Enseleni river. A buffet lunch is served around the outside thatched bar or by the swimming pool. Dine under the stars in the boma for a traditional South African braai (barbecue). Game drives conducted in open safari on the property and in the nearby Hluluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive at Thula Thula Tented Camp via transfer ex Durban. Your first game drive will begin at 4pm for about 2 ½ hours. A buffet dinner, African style will be served in the boma, under the African sky.

Day 2: Wake early for a bush walk, come back for breakfast. After breakfast prepare yourself for a full body aromatheraphy massage on your private veranda. Followed by lunch. Afternoon game drive and a 4 course gourmet dinner at the safari lodge.

Day 3: Excursion to St. Lucia for the day; you will go to an Indian Ocean beach, then be served your picnic lunch on the St. Lucia Estuary Boat Cruise, where you will see Hippo and Croc. Return back from St. Lucia in time for the afternoon game drive and enjoy the evening in our game reserve.

Day 4: Wake early for a bush walk. Arrive back for breakfast. Time to relax then Lunch is served. After Lunch, you will be taken to the Zulu Village to meet with the Inyanga. Return back to Thula Thula for the afternoon game drive, and the evening dinner in the boma.

Day 5: Full day guided tour to Hluhluwe – Umfolozi, where you have the chance of seeing the BIG 5. You will return to Thula Thula late afternoon and enjoy another superb dinner.

Day 6: A bush walk and a game drive included today. For lunch, the game rangers will take you into the game reserve and serve you a Champagne picnic in the bush.

Day 7: Today is your departure day. Bush walk followed by breakfast and transfer back to the airport.

Price includes: Return transfer from Durban, 6 night accommodation at Thula Thula Tented Camp, all meals, tea/coffee/mineralwater, game drives and bush walks, visit to Zulu village, St Lucia Boat Cruise, full day safari to Hluhluwe/Umfolozi, Full body massage.
