Discover the Kalahari

Camp Kalahari has 10 Meru tents with en suite outdoor bathrooms featuring flush loos and showers. The tent interiors are classic, old safari style, complete with comfy beds, cotton sheets, African blankets and hot water bottles in winter.

A thatched library, lounge and dining area allow one to relax and enjoy the serenity and peace of this enchanting area.

During your stay, your itinerary will include: a visit to some of the Kalahari’s most fascinating inhabitants, the meerkats—get up close and personal with these captivating creatures; visit a remote cattle post to learn about the traditional culture of the Batswana people; view the famous Chapman’s Baobab; take a quad bike excursion across the pans and observe the elusive brown hyaena—now habituated, we are able to observe their social behavior without disturbance.
