15 June 2024 – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, proceed through customs and immigration. You will be met by your guide, then transfer to Moivaro Lodge in Arusha for overnight.
16 June 2024 – Ngorongoro Crater
After having breakfast at the lodge, transfer from Arusha to Karatu. During the journey, travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy scenic views of the Tanzanian landscape, including villages, farmlands, and possibly wildlife depending on the route.
The following morning, you’ll be ready for your visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for its stunning wildlife, including a high concentration of animals such as lions, elephants, and rhinos.
17 June 2024 – Ngorongoro Crater
Depart for the Ngorongoro Crater in the early morning. The drive down into the Ngorongoro Crater itself is an adventure, offering breathtaking views. Once inside, you’ll be surrounded by the crater’s high walls and diverse ecosystems.
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros). You’ll likely encounter zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and an abundance of bird species. The crater’s enclosed nature makes it easier to spot animals.
Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater, allowing you to relax with a meal while surrounded by the incredible scenery and wildlife.
After a full day of exploration, you’ll begin your ascent out of the crater. Take in the last views of this unique ecosystem before heading back to your accommodation.
18 June 2024 – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, embark on your drive to the Serengeti. The journey offers picturesque landscapes and glimpses of rural Tanzanian life.
Make a planned stop at Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site that has provided valuable insights into early human evolution. The site is known for the discovery of fossilized remains of hominids and ancient tools. You will have the opportunity to visit the museum, providing a fascinating look into our evolutionary history.
Resume your journey to the Serengeti after exploring Olduvai Gorge. The drive allows you to witness the changing landscapes as you approach the iconic Serengeti National Park.
19 June 2024 – Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park offer incredible opportunities to witness the park’s diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.
As the sun rises over the Serengeti plains, you’ll have the chance to witness breathtaking views and observe animals beginning their daily activities. Keep your eyes peeled for predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as herbivores like elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests.
As the day draws to a close, watch the African sun set over the vast plains of the Serengeti. The golden light of sunset creates stunning vistas and provides a picturesque backdrop for wildlife encounters.
20 June 2024 – Serengeti National Park
Head out on your final game drive in the Serengeti with your experienced guide. Take this opportunity to search for any wildlife you may not have encountered during previous drives, and revisit areas of particular interest. Keep a lookout for the Big Five and other iconic African species. Serengeti National Park is known for its abundant wildlife, and each game drive can bring new and exciting sightings.
The late afternoon is an excellent time to observe animals preparing for the evening, with predators becoming more active and herbivores gathering at watering holes. As the sun begins to set, cherish the final moments in the Serengeti. Capture the changing colors of the landscape and say farewell to the remarkable wildlife that calls this park home.
21 June 2024 – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive from the Serengeti to Lake Manyara National Park. The drive offers the opportunity to witness the changing landscapes and observe rural life along the way.
Embark on an afternoon game drive within Lake Manyara National Park. Your guide will take you through different habitats, providing opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, and a rich birdlife.
Lake Manyara is famous for its unique population of tree-climbing lions. Keep a close eye on the branches of acacia trees, as lions are known to seek refuge and rest there.
22 June 2024 – Amboseli National Park
Begin your day with an early departure from Lake Manyara. This will give you ample time to enjoy the scenic drive and reach the Namanga Border in good time. Arrive at the Namanga Border, the crossing point between Tanzania and Kenya. Ensure you have all necessary travel documents, including passports and any required visas.
Once you’ve crossed the border into Kenya, continue your drive to Amboseli National Park. The park is known for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its diverse wildlife. Upon entering Amboseli National Park, embark on an afternoon game drive. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. 23 June 2024 – Amboseli National Park
Start your morning game drive as early as possible. The cooler temperatures enhance wildlife activity, and you have a higher chance of spotting animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and various bird species.
Amboseli is renowned for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The morning light can create stunning reflections on the mountain, offering exceptional photographic opportunities.

25 June 2024 – Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon reaching the Masai Mara, check in at Sekenani Camp. This luxury tented camp offers a comfortable and immersive safari experience in the heart of the Mara.

28 June 2024 – End of Itinerary
Checkout from Sekanani Camp and depart from the Masai Mara. Driving back to Nairobi marks the end of your safari adventure.
