Day 1Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our friendly tour representative who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to the luxurious Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo. This elegant hotel, located near the iconic Pyramids of Giza, will be your home for the next four nights. After a smooth check-in, you can unwind and relax in the comfort of your well-appointed room or take a stroll through the hotel’s beautiful gardens.

In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, where you will enjoy delicious Egyptian cuisine and get to know each other. Day 2Cairo / Full Day Tour Visiting Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Khan El Khalili

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day exploration of Cairo’s most iconic landmarks. Your first stop is the world-renowned Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Here, you will marvel at the treasures of Tutankhamun, including his famous golden mask, and gain a deep insight into Egypt’s fascinating history through its vast array of statues, jewelry, and mummies. Your expert guide will provide detailed explanations of the exhibits, bringing to life the stories behind these incredible relics.

After the museum, continue to the historic Citadel of Saladin, a medieval Islamic fortification offering panoramic views of Cairo. Day 3Cairo / Pyramids & Sphinx

Your day begins with a visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza, the last remaining wonder of the ancient world. Stand in awe of this architectural marvel, constructed over 4,500 years ago, and learn about the ingenious engineering techniques that made it possible. Continue to the Pyramid of Khafre and the smaller Pyramid of Menkaure, each with its own unique features and history.

Day 4Nile Cruise

After an early breakfast, check out from your Cairo hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our local representative and transferred to the luxurious Jaz Crown Jewel Nile Cruise. As you board the elegant cruise ship, you’ll be welcomed with refreshing drinks and shown to your comfortable cabin, your home for the next four nights as you embark on a journey along the legendary Nile River.

Day 5Nile Cruise

Start your day with a sumptuous breakfast on board before disembarking to explore the wonders of Luxor’s West Bank. Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. Descend into the elaborately decorated tombs, including that of Tutankhamun, and admire the vivid wall paintings that tell stories of the afterlife. Next, visit the impressive Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, standing tall and majestic amidst the remnants of his mortuary temple.

Continue to the breathtaking Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh. This magnificent structure, with its stunning terraces and grand colonnades, is set against the backdrop of towering cliffs. Day 6Nile Cruise

After a hearty breakfast on board, disembark to visit the well-preserved Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. This Ptolemaic temple is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, featuring magnificent carvings, towering columns, and sacred halls that narrate the mythology and rituals of ancient Egypt. With your knowledgeable guide, explore the temple’s highlights, including the impressive Hypostyle Hall and the Sanctuary of Horus, gaining insight into the religious practices and architectural grandeur of the time.

Return to the ship for lunch as you sail towards Kom Ombo, enjoying the serene views of the Nile. In the afternoon, enjoy tea time on the sun deck before arriving at Kom Ombo. Here, you have free time to explore the unique Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Wander through the symmetrical double temple and visit the Crocodile Museum, which houses mummified crocodiles and fascinating artifacts. Continue sailing towards Aswan, where you’ll dock for the night. In the evening, savor a delightful dinner on board, followed by a lively Galabya Party. Don traditional Egyptian attire, dance to local music, and enjoy the festive atmosphere as you celebrate with your fellow travelers. Day 7Nile Cruise

Start your day with a delicious breakfast on board before setting out to explore the highlights of Aswan. Your first stop is the impressive High Dam, an engineering marvel that tamed the mighty Nile and created Lake Nasser. Learn about the construction of the dam and its significant impact on Egypt’s economy and agriculture. Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, an enormous granite monolith that remains partially carved from the bedrock. This site offers a fascinating glimpse into the techniques used by ancient Egyptian stone masons and the challenges they faced.

Continue to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple complex, meticulously relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from flooding, is renowned for its stunning architecture and tranquil setting. Wander through the majestic halls and courtyards, admiring the intricate carvings and reliefs that tell the story of Isis and Osiris. Return to the cruise ship for lunch before embarking on a relaxing felucca ride on the Nile. Sail to Aswan’s Botanical Garden, situated on Kitchener’s Island, where you can stroll through lush, exotic gardens filled with plants from around the world.

In the evening, enjoy a delectable dinner on board, followed by a captivating Nubian show featuring traditional music and dance that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the Nubian people. After an enchanting evening, retire to your cabin for a restful night, anchored in the serene waters of Aswan.

Day 8Abu Simbel / Cairo

Begin your day with breakfast on board before disembarking from the Jaz Crown Jewel. You will be transferred to Aswan Airport for a short flight to Abu Simbel, home to the magnificent temples of Ramses II and his queen, Nefertari. These colossal rock temples, relocated to higher ground to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, are a testament to ancient Egypt’s architectural genius. Marvel at the massive statues of Ramses II that guard the entrance and the intricate carvings that adorn the temple interiors, depicting scenes of the pharaoh’s victories and divine connections.

After this awe-inspiring excursion, fly back to Aswan and transfer to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be taken to the InterContinental City Star for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 9Amman, Jordan

After an early breakfast, check out from the Holiday Inn Hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Jordan. Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, you will be greeted by a friendly member of our staff who will assist you with customs and immigration formalities, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free entry into Jordan. As you step into the vibrant city of Amman, you’ll immediately sense the blend of ancient history and modernity that defines this fascinating capital.

You will then be transferred to the elegant Ambassador Hotel, your home for the next two nights. Located in the heart of Amman, the hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. After checking in, take some time to relax and unwind in your well-appointed room or explore the hotel’s amenities.

Day 10Amman City Tour / Jerash / Amman

Enjoy breakfast, then depart to start the City Tour of Amman, where you will visit Jebel al-Qala’a (the Citadel), with its remains of the Roman Temple of Hercules, Umayyad Palace and excellent views over downtown. The National Archaeological Museum, home to ancient findings from the whole country, is located on the Citadel grounds. Continue to the impressive Roman Theater, the largest in Jordan, with room for 6,000 spectators. The small Folklore Museum and Museum of Popular Traditions are adjacent to the Theater. Free time for walking/shopping in bustling markets of the downtown area, locally known as al-Balad. Proceed to visit the Greco-Roman City of Jerash, also known as the City of the Thousand Columns. Jerash showcases the grandeur of Imperial Rome (and is sometimes referred to as the Pompeii of the East). It is considered one of the largest, and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World outside Italy. As the most pristine Decapolis City (meaning ten cities in Greek) in the modern world, Jerash’s prosperity can be admired in the collonaded main street and lovely Oval Piazza. Transfer back to Amman. Overnight at hotel

Day 11Amman / Mount Nebo / Madaba / Shobak / Petra

After breakfast, depart to visit Mt. Nebo, which is considered to be one of the most important holy sites in Jordan, as it is believed to be the place where Moses climbed from the Valley of Moab, and from where God showed him the Promised Land, as well as Moses’ last resting place. It features ruins from the 4th to the 6th century with marvellous mosaics adorning the grounds of the church still visible. Continue to visit the Christian Town of Madaba, which is known as ‘The City of Mosaics’. You will be visiting the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, where you will see the masterpiece of Madaba (a Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land that goes back to the 6th century, showing Jerusalem and other cities), you will also visit the Archaeological Park, which houses the remains of several Byzantine churches, including the amazing mosaics of the Church of the Virgin. The park complex includes a school for the restoration and conservation of ancient mosaics. We will then move to Shobak to visit the massive Crusader’s fortress, originally called Montreal, which was strategically located on a hill along the pilgrimage and caravan routes from Syria to Arabia. Perched in a wild, remote landscape, it is especially imposing when seen from a distance. Continue south to the hotel in Petra. Overnight at Petra Guesthouse for 2 nights.

Day 12Petra

Enjoy and early breakfast, then we will start our journey to explore Petra, aptly described as the “Rose-Red city, half as old as time”. The ancient city was founded by the Nabateans 2000 years ago. Its massive architectural structure and its multicoloured stones are an incredible attraction. The visit of the ancient Nabatean capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs. Towards the end of the Siq, you will be spellbound by Petra’s most famous monument; the Treasury. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the city. Return to your hotel in Petra. Overnight at hotel

Day 13Petra / Beida / Wadi Rum

Enjoy breakfast, checkout and proceed to Beida, also known as Little Petra and the place where the Nabateans used to entertain their guests. Continue south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. Enjoy a 4×4 Bedouin Jeep Tour inside the Wadi, covering its highlights. Watch the most beautiful view while drinking a cup of traditional Bedouin tea. Transfer to the campsite inside the desert. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 14Wadi Rum to Dead Sea

Breakfast. Tour inside the desert of Wadi Rum in a 4×4 vehicle for 3 hours. Transfer by road to the Dead Seas. Due to its high salinity, one can only float in its warm, oily waters. The mud along the shore contains many minerals and is believed to have medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Overnight at Holiday Inn Dead Seas (BB)

Day 15Tour End

Start your final day in Jordan with a leisurely breakfast at the Holiday Inn Dead Sea, savoring the last moments of your stay amidst the tranquil surroundings.

After breakfast, take some time to immerse yourself once more in the unique experience of floating effortlessly in the warm, buoyant waters of the Dead Sea. Indulge in the therapeutic benefits of the mineral-rich mud found along the shore, known for its rejuvenating effects on the skin and overall well-being.

Later in the morning, prepare for your transfer back to Amman. Relax during the scenic journey as you bid farewell to the remarkable landscapes and cultural treasures of Jordan.

Upon arrival in Amman, you will be transferred to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure flight, which is scheduled for later in the afternoon.
