This magnificent safari is for the discerning traveller who wants to experience the best that Africa has to offer and does not want to skimp on the luxuries of life.

Botswana has some of the most amazing scenery and game viewing in all of Africa. This safari takes in the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Savuti, the Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls. With five star accommodation all the way. This is the best of Africa, experienced in the best possible way; this trip will leave you with stunning memories for years to come.

Day 1: Okavango Delta

Upon arrival at Maun Airport (northern Botswana) you will be met by a representative and helped onto your chartered light aircraft for the flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta. About 30 mins flying time will see you landing at the Camp Okavango airstrip where you will be met by the camp staff, then a short walk to camp where you will be shown to your luxury tent. Afternoon tea will be served before embarking on your activities.

Day 2: Okavango Delta

Today we will embark on scheduled game activities offered by Camp Okavango. Guests can explore the scenic waterways of the Okavango Delta by Mokoro (Traditional canoe). Drifting silently through the floodplains and channels allows you the opportunity to view the abundant bird and animal life almost undetected. A motorboat cruise allows you to get further into this magnificent wetland where you can take a guided walk on one of the islands or even try your hand at fishing for bream or Pike. Sundowners round out a fantastic day in one of the world’s most unspoilt wildernesses.

Day 3: Moremi Game Reserve

One more morning activity before breakfast and then we will walk to the airstrip to meet with our light aircraft for the transfer to camp Moremei. Overlooking the Xakanaxa (Ka-Ka-na-ka) lagoon and situated within the Moremi game reserve, Camp “M” as the locals call it, is in one of the most game rich areas of Botswana. Ancient Mopane forests, open grassland, seasonal floodplains and riverine habitats combine to create a welcoming African wildlife sanctuary. Trained naturalist guides share their knowledge of Botswana’s wilderness with you on game drives. Moremi offers an opportunity to see wild dog, cheetah, leopard, lion, giraffe, elephant and buffalo and a multitude of other game species. Other activities include bird watching and powerboat excursions to the Gadikwe lagoon.

Day 4: Moremi

An early wakeup call and a warm cup of coffee prepares you for the early game drive. To be successful at finding the elusive nocturnal predators, one needs to be out on your game drive while they are still moving around. Some of the most spectacular sightings have been recorded in this part of Moremi and it is a favourite area with many operators, fortunately, tourist numbers are very strictly controlled in Botswana, so your game viewing experience is always the best it can be. We return to camp when the animals start to settle down for the day, then enjoy a fantastic brunch and have a rest through the day before once again resuming our quest for the remarkable creatures of Africa in the early evening.

Once again, early morning and late afternoon game drives will take you far and wide over this massive expanse of African bush. Savuti abounds with vast numbers of animals. Resident lion prides as well as leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, and a multitude of plains game are just a few of the mammals that you may encounter. For those that are a little adventurous and are able to handle some mountain climbing, there are some “bushman” rock paintings on the nearby “Gobatsa” hills. When you are not out on your game drives, relax in the supreme luxury of your room or admire the elephants from the deck as they stroll past the camp on their way to………… wherever they want to go.

This morning after breakfast, you will take a slow drive to the airstrip, passing the waterhole along the way where you may get a last look at some activity. During your flight to Kasane you will truly get to realise just how remote this magnificent African country really is, as from horizon to horizon, all you see below you is unspoilt Africa. Kasane is a small town nestled in the North eastern corner of Botswana, at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers and also the meeting point of 4 countries. Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe all meet at a single point, somewhere in the deepest channel of the river. You will be met at the airport and transfered into the Chobe National Park where you will spend two nights at the world renowned Chobe Game Lodge, one of the first lodges in Botswana.
